Accessing data files can be accomplished in a variety of ways:
Virtual Private Network (VPN) - If your work environment is set up for multiple users, then a Virtual Private Network
(VPN) or similar system is probably already in place. This networking capability allows your Virtual Assistant access to specific files on your
computer; but ONLY the files needed to get the job done. If a VPN is not in place, a network engineer will be consulted.
Electronic File Transfer - Data base files can be zipped, encrypted and transmitted securely as an email attachment;
utilizing a virtual file transfer service; or by using The Admin Link's toll free fax number.
CD or DVD - Copy the data base file onto a CD or DVD and let a reliable courier service take care of the rest.
How is the hard copy (paper) delivered?
Mail Courier Services - If the information being keyed is lengthy and in hard copy (paper) format, we can use an overnight
courier. Such packages can be insured and tracked for safe delivery. The CD or DVD could even be packaged with the hard copy (paper). Once the data
entry work is complete, the entire package will be mailed back to you.
Email or fax - These are options to explore and will depend upon the volume of data being entered.
